Townhouse Interior Gut Renovation & New Rear Deck

This was a renovation of a 100 year old Brooklyn Townhouse in Bed Stuy. The interiors were in disrepair and needed a major remodel. The scope of work involved a complete gut renovation of the interiors, as well as adding a deck to the parlor floor with concrete pavers. To access the deck, we added a new opening in the rear façade of the brick townhouse. The renovation included reconfiguring the rooms and closets, and creating a new bathroom. The parlor floor originally had several partition walls that we removed to make an open floor plan and a new open kitchen.
We kept and restored many of the original details of the townhouse, including the marble fireplaces, moldings, and an original mirror with painted wood frame. Additionally, we exposed brick in certain areas. The original floors were mostly kept and refinished but we used reclaimed wood to supplement in areas that needed to be replaced. Additionally, we installed new mini split ductless heating and cooling units.
