Stone Slabs
Stone slabs, the epitome of luxury and elegance, play a pivotal role in creating a truly elevated bathroom design. These large pieces of stone, when skillfully installed on walls and floors, have the power to completely transform the space, evoking a sense of awe and showcasing the inherent beauty of the material.
In the bathroom below, we used travertine slabs to balance the stone’s classic richness with the modern geometry of the overall design.

Custom Is Luxury
In the bathroom below, we mixed bronze metal panels with dark stone. The sink is custom-made from stone slabs, a real luxury bathroom design feature. Having a sink made especially for you elevates a bathroom from good to great. After all, custom design and construction are what make a bathroom truly luxury.
The material combination here makes the bathroom stand out; using stone and bronze together in this manner makes the bathroom feel solid and dignified.

This next view of the bathroom above is an excellent example of achieving a sleek design by keeping it simple. The shower has porcelain tiles for the walls in a uniform stack bond pattern with a bronze metal niche. This bathroom is simple but feels high-end through its sophisticated minimalist energy.

Tadelakt Bathroom
Tadelakt is a traditional Moroccan waterproof plaster. It is applied manually by highly skilled craftspeople to create a continuous, seamless surface. The most exciting characteristic of tadelakt is that it can be used to build an entire bathroom without a single grout line.
Using alternative materials like Tadelakt can be a great way to create a unique, high-end bathroom design with a textured touch of traditional character.

Details Matter
When it comes to a luxury bathroom, the details make all the difference. The picture below shows one of my favorite ways to build a shower niche. First, this bathroom has marble slabs for the walls, which is already a great start for a stunning bathroom design. We designed the niche with the same marble using miter cuts to achieve a seamless look. The niche feels like a recess in the marble wall, which has a stunning simplicity and beauty.

The Unique Powder Room
The powder room is an area where people often like to have a little fun with the design. Powder rooms can be simple, quirky, or moody, whatever you want. We designed the powder room below to be just a little dark and moody yet inviting.
This powder room has two primary materials, marble and waterproof Tadelakt, in green. The sink is custom made in green marble that has a real richness to it. We designed the floor using the same green marble slab. The walls have a subtle texture in the waterproof Tadelakt plaster. These elements come together to create a highly elevated powder room with a subtle sophistication.
