Tribeca Loft North Moore

  • 4,000 Sq Ft Loft Renovation
  • Tribeca, Manhattan, NYC

This project is a full renovation of a 4,000-square-foot, multi-level loft residence in Tribeca. The home is organized across three levels, including a primary living floor, a mezzanine level above, and a lower level containing a private guest suite and additional living space.

The design approach focused on preserving the spatial drama and industrial character that define classic Tribeca loft living while introducing a refined, contemporary interior architecture. The residence was conceived as a calm, light-filled environment where proportion, material continuity, and precision detailing create a sense of quiet luxury.

The architectural palette is intentionally restrained, built around layered off-whites, softness, and subtle light grey undertones. Rather than relying on contrast, the space is defined through texture, shadow, and natural light. The result is a loft that feels clean and modern while remaining warm, livable, and visually calm — an approach that complements the scale and openness of a 4,000-square-foot Tribeca residence.

The kitchen is designed as a seamless architectural element, tucked beneath the mezzanine to maintain openness in the main living space. Executed in a refined all-white composition, the kitchen emphasizes integrated detailing, concealed storage, and uninterrupted surfaces. The intent was to allow the kitchen to recede visually while still functioning as a fully bespoke, high-performance space for daily living and entertaining.

Above, the mezzanine is enclosed with glass railings and translucent sliding panel doors. This allows natural light from the primary living room windows to filter through the upper level while giving the flexibility to create privacy when needed. The translucent panels create a layered light effect throughout the day, reinforcing the loft’s connection to natural light and vertical volume.

Throughout the residence, the luxury is expressed through discipline in design and execution. Material transitions are minimized, alignments are precise, and custom fabrication was used to maintain visual continuity across all levels of the home. The goal was to create an interior that feels effortless and highly resolved rather than decorative.

In a Tribeca loft of this scale, luxury is defined by space, light, and precision. This residence was designed to feel timeless, highly tailored, and deeply integrated with the architectural DNA of the building — a contemporary loft that respects its industrial origins while delivering the performance, comfort, and customization expected of a modern luxury home.
